Jeff McMahon is the Managing Director of Freepoint Eco-Systems LLC, where he manages the company's pyrolysis business. Freepoint Eco-Systems converts waste plastic into a hydrocarbon liquid called "PyOil" which serves as a substitute for crude oil, used in creating products including plastic resins. Prior to joining Freepoint in 2016, Mr. McMahon spent 8 years in public accounting specializing in energy commodity trading firms, and held senior management positions in the energy commodity industry including CEO, CFO, and CIO. Immediately before Freepoint, he was a Portfolio Manager for a family office, managing a $1 billion direct investment portfolio.
