Effective May 2025, John MacKenzie transitioned to the role of Chair of the Board of Directors of Capstone Copper. He was initially appointed Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors in March 2022 following the combination of Capstone Mining and Mantos Copper. He also serves as director of Gold Fields Limited, and previously served as the Executive Chairman and Founder of Mantos Copper for over 6 years.
