Karn Manhas is the founder of Terramera, an agtech venture that develops proprietary technology to reduce synthetic pesticides. He served as CEO for 13 years before stepping down to become executive chair of the board in March 2023. Under his leadership, Terramera raised a $10 million Series A in 2016 and a $48.5 million Series B in 2019. Previously, Manhas was the youngest MLA elected in B.C. in 2001.
