Before leading Longboard, he served as the first chief financial officer at Arena Pharmaceuticals, which was acquired by Pfizer for $6.7 billion in 2021. His career also includes a decade in private equity at TPG, where he invested in life sciences, and prior work as an investment banker in biotechnology.
