Marieke Flament was appointed CEO of the NEAR Foundation, effective January 1, 2022. She is a global executive with experience in crypto and fintech, having previously served as Managing Director of European operations and Global CMO at Circle. Flament also led SME banking app Mettle by Natwest, growing its team and launching the app.
