Richard Rast is the President of Highland Materials, where he leads product validation, engineering/construction, plant operations, supply and off-take, and financing. Prior to joining Highland Materials, he started, developed, and sold three successful businesses over a 40-year period. His expertise spans planning, design, construction, and operation of large-scale manufacturing facilities, as well as renewable energy development and environmental compliance. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech.
