Susanne Kuppers is a member of the executive board of APK Aluminium und Kunststoffe AG and managing director of APK NCC. APK specializes in a solvent-based recycling technology for low-density polyethylene, called Newcycling, which separates different polymers from multilayer packaging materials to produce high-purity recycled materials. LyondellBasell and Kirkbi, along with other co-investors, invested approximately 130 million Euros in APK to become minority shareholders.
