Luke Hakes is a Partner at Octopus Ventures in London, having joined the firm in early 2009 and spent over 13 years there as a General Partner before scaling it from four employees to over 90 personnel with £1.4 billion in assets under management. He focuses on growth-stage ventures in data-enriched underwriting models and digitally enhanced technologies for the insurance sector, while also helping identify companies in the Future of Health investment team.
