It's not about age, it's about execution and timing. What this chart shows you is that as the founder grows in age, there is an increase also in the likelihood of being able to succeed. And as you can see, literally it peaks on the 40 to 50 age range. So what this tells us is that the myth is wrong. Now it's not about like being in your 20s to be able to succeed. The cases of Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs, that's one in a million. Founders in their 40s and 50s actually outperform. And that's because of all the institutional knowledge that they have been able to gather. Again, founders that are young, it doesn't mean that they're doomed. They just need to surround themselves by advisors that are actually very knowledgeable. The data actually also shows that late bloomers also have a really big chance, the ones that are past 60. I mean, take a look at, for example, the founder of Kentucky

Fried Chicken. He founded the company at 63. And again, this chart is taken from Harbor Business Review. If you're looking to raise money, go to startupf fundraising.com and supercharge your raise with AI.
