Every morning, Anna Wintour gets up at 5:45. She plays an hour's tennis 4 days a week, weather permitting. Her hair and makeup artist arrive at her home every day at 7:00. Her chauffeur collects her at 7:30, and she's at her desk by 8:00. I do feel that Vogue has a standard of excellence that is unsurpassed in the world of um fashion magazines, and we have an incredible history that we have to maintain its standards. And I think that we have that aura. We have that point of view that to be in Vogue really means something, that you're attaining something. It's not just a magazine. It's I don't know. It's like Coca-Cola or a Nike. I mean, it's a huge brand. Vogue, one of the world's most profitable fashion magazines, attracts a lot of attention, but its editor attracts even more. Her name inspires headlines on both sides of the Atlantic. She's been described as an icy control freak, and is
