David S. Chernow was appointed President and Chief Strategy Officer of Select Medical Holdings Corporation, a leading operator of specialty hospitals and outpatient rehabilitation clinics in the United States, in September 2010. Prior to this role, he was President and CEO of Oncure Medical Corp., a national network of cancer treatment centers. He also co-founded American Oncology Resources in 1992, serving as its Chief Development Officer until its merger with US Oncology, where he then became President of its Physician Services Group. He previously served as President and CEO of JA Worldwide.
