About David Younger

David Younger is the Co-Founder and CEO of A-Alpha Bio, a biotech startup spun out of David Baker's Lab at the University of Washington's Institute for Protein Design in 2018. He co-founded the company with Randolph Lopez while they were graduate researchers at UW Bioengineering, where he earned his Ph.D. in 2017. Younger leads the company's use of synthetic biology, machine learning, and protein engineering to measure, predict, and engineer protein-protein interactions for therapeutic applications.
