Hardy Murchison is the President and CEO of Encino Energy, an oil and gas acquisition, exploration, and development company based in Houston, Texas. Founded by Murchison in 2011, Encino Energy focuses on long-lived oil and gas investments primarily onshore in the U.S. In 2017, the company formed Encino Acquisition Partners (EAP) in collaboration with CPP Investments, which later made a significant acquisition in Ohio's Utica Shale play.
