Ian Dickinson is the President and CEO of LongPath Technologies, a Boulder, Colorado-based startup that uses long-range laser systems to localize and quantify methane emissions. He previously secured $5 million from the Department of Energy matched with $2 million in seed investment, and later led a $30 million Series A round. In October 2024, Dickinson announced the closure of a $162.4 million loan from the DOE Loan Programs Office to expand methane detection capabilities.
