Ian Proulx is the CEO of 1047 Games, a Zephyr Cove, Nevada-based game studio. The company developed Splitgate, a free-to-play multiplayer shooter known for its Portal-like mechanics, which has accumulated 13 million downloads. Proulx started working on Splitgate in 2017 as his senior project while studying computer science at Stanford University. The company recently raised $100 million at a $1.5 billion valuation.
