Jin Liqun is the inaugural President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), a multilateral development bank focused on improving economic and social outcomes in Asia. Since 2014, he has been instrumental in establishing the AIIB and served as its first president from 2016 for a full decade. He leads efforts to mobilize private sector investors and improve lending instruments for infrastructure development in the 21st century.
