Judith Persichilli is the Health Commissioner for the New Jersey State Department of Health and was the first nurse to hold this role. She earned a BS in Nursing from Rutgers School of Nursing in 1976 and was inducted into the Rutgers Hall of Distinguished Alumni in 2022. Prior to her current role, she held leadership positions at various hospitals across New Jersey.
