J. Thomas May served as CEO and Chairman of Simmons First National Corporation, a bank enterprise, for over 25 years. Under his leadership, the bank grew from a $500 million operation to $4.5 billion in assets. After his retirement in 2013, he became the first chairman of the Simmons First Foundation, a charitable giving extension of the bank.
