About Trevor Milton

Trevor Milton is a U.S. entrepreneur born in 1982 who founded Nikola Motor Company in 2014 and served as its CEO before being removed in 2021 following securities fraud allegations. He was sentenced to four years in prison in 2022 for making false claims about the company's hydrogen-powered trucks and battery technology. Milton is no longer employed by Nikola, which declared bankruptcy in February 2025.
