William E. Mudd is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Churchill Downs Incorporated, a company that has diversified into online wagering and regional casino gaming. He joined the company in 2007 as Executive Vice President and CFO, before being promoted to President and CFO in 2014, and then to his current role in 2015. His career began at General Electric, where he gained leadership experience including as CFO of Supply Chain, IT and Technology Finance for GE’s Consumer and Industrial Europe, Middle East and Africa division.
