Christopher Ruddy is an American business executive and former journalist, and a political conservative. He is the CEO and majority owner of Newsmax Media, which began as a digital startup and has grown into a publicly traded multimedia company. Ruddy earned a BA from St. John's University, New York, and an MPP from the London School of Economics. Prior to founding Newsmax, he worked as an investigative reporter for the New York Post and a national correspondent for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
