Thomas Buberl is the Chief Executive Officer of AXA. He holds a Master of Economics, an MBA, and a PhD in Economics. He began his career at the Boston Consulting Group before joining the Winterthur Group and then Zurich Insurance Group, eventually becoming CEO for Switzerland. Buberl joined AXA in 2012 as CEO of AXA Konzern AG (Germany) and was appointed CEO of AXA Group on September 1, 2016.
