WMNfintech is an award-winning program from 1871 and BMO Financial Group, designed to empower startup founders as they scale services and solutions in the fintech industry. It is North America’s largest fintech accelerator of its kind, supporting fintech startups through tailored strategic connections, resources, and programming. Five startups are selected to participate, receiving support free of charge. Alumni companies have created 220+ jobs and raised over $51M in capital. The program is open to fintech startups with a working financial model, a U.S.-focused product/solution, a built MVP, and a team of more than one person.
