Karl Johnny Hersvik is the Chief Executive Officer of Aker BP, a role he has held since 2014. Prior to joining Aker BP, he served as head of research for Statoil, and held various specialist and executive positions with Norsk Hydro and StatoilHydro. He holds a cand.scient. degree in industrial mathematics from the University of Bergen. Hersvik chairs the board of RunwayFBU and is a board member at Offshore Norway and Ørsted A/S.
