Lisa M. Barton was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Alliant Energy, overseeing Interstate Power and Light (IPL) and Wisconsin Power and Light (WPL). Previously, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of American Electric Power (AEP), where she guided the company's expansion into regulated renewables and grid reliability initiatives. She began her career at Northeast Utilities in 1987.
