About Shankar Balasubramian

Sir Shankar Balasubramanian is the Herchel Smith Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Trinity College Cambridge. He co-invented Next Generation DNA Sequencing (NGS) and is a co-founder of Solexa and Cambridge Epigenetix. Cambridge Epigenetix was founded by Shankar Balasubramanian in 2012 to develop life sciences tools using epigenetics.
