Real Estate Team Slides: 7 Real Pitch Deck Examples
How proptech founders show they know real estate and can build the software: named property operators, transactions and locations managed, prior exits.
Real Estate Team Slide: Show Who Knows Property and Who Builds the Software
Real estate is slow to change, relationship-driven and full of specialist rules. Investors read a proptech team slide to see two things: someone who has worked inside the property business, and someone who can build the product. This guide compares seven real team slides from decks tagged proptech in our library, from a slide that gives every founder a property result with a number to one that shows names, titles and company logos.
TL;DR
Pair real estate experience with technical experience, and give each a result. Infinitspace's CEO "Scaled 1 to 50 WeWork locations", its COO "Managed 15 transactions out of Mindspace's 31 locations", and its CTO co-founded one of the first SaaS companies in the Netherlands. Array's founders worked at Lend Lease Retirement Living, the industry it sells to. Localize and Keyway lead with prior companies and named employers. Domi pairs a chartered civil engineer with a software CTO. Immo and Gable are weaker: logos and titles instead of individual backgrounds.
Real estate team slides from real pitch decks
Each example shows the exact stored slide above its analysis and links to the full teardown. The clearest slides come first; weaker ones follow for contrast. Claims are as shown on the slides; comments are ours.
Infinitspace team slide — slide 2
Flexible workspace. Slide titled "Founding Team".
Infinitspace deck, slide 2. Exact stored slide matched to this analysis.
Our analysis: Two founders have run flexible workspace at scale for the market leaders, and the third has built software companies. Every claim comes with a number.
Evidence and limitation: Named employers, years, locations, square feet, headcount and transactions for all three founders.
What a founder can adapt: Lead each person with their most relevant number, as this slide does.
Supporting analysis
What the deck claims: Wybo Wijnbergen, "CEO | Co-founder": "Managing Director from '15-'20 @WeWork. Scaled 1 to 50 WeWork locations (5M sq ft) West & Northern Europe, Berlin HQ, 275 fte"; "Managing Director @ Merlin Entertainments Ltd, scaled from 30 to 115 attractions"; "2 scaleups", "1 IPO". Wilco Wijnbergen, "CTO | Co-founder": "Technical co-founder #1 illness management software in The Netherlands", "One of first SaaS companies in The Netherlands. 100 employees", "4 startups, 2 scaleups". Elad Hod, "COO | Co-founder": "Former Director of real estate at Mindspace", "Managed 15 transactions out of Mindspace's 31 locations", "Co-managed acquisition of Dutch Flexible Workspace provider".
Presentation choice: For a workspace business, investors want proof the team can find, sign and fill buildings; the WeWork and Mindspace results answer that directly.
When it does not fit: Nothing major; the logos add little beside such specific text.
Property data management, "Simplifying property data management for better business decisions". Slide titled "Meet the Team".
Array deck, slide 3. Exact stored slide matched to this analysis.
Our analysis: Both business founders have worked inside the industry they sell to, down to running a village; the CTO shows a shipped product with a number.
Evidence and limitation: Years at a named property operator, a contract count, a download figure, and advisors labelled separately.
What a founder can adapt: Say what the digital conveyancing program achieved.
Supporting analysis
What the deck claims: Paul McGee, "Co-Founder, COO": "9 years with Lend Lease Retirement Living", "Covered a variety of roles from a Village Manager to senior business process improvement", "Project-led the development of the first of its kind digital conveyancing program". Matt Slutzkin, "Co-Founder, CFO": "5 years with Lend Lease Retirement Living", "Oversaw the management and automation of the calculation process of 450 different contract types", "Managed transactional data and analysis for Transurban and Macquarie Bank". Marty Rodowsky, "CTO": "10+ years of technical experience", "Created Picnado app (133,000 downloads in 12 months)". Advisors include "Michael Eggington, former MD of Lend Lease Retirement Living".
Presentation choice: Operators buy from people who understand their work; experience inside the customer is strong evidence of that.
When it does not fit: Small type in the advisor line; the former MD is a strong point that is easy to miss.
Localize deck, slide 3. Exact stored slide matched to this analysis.
Our analysis: Strong start-up and technical history; the growth role at Via is the closest to consumer marketplaces. No real estate experience is shown.
Evidence and limitation: Named companies with valuations or acquisition prices, and each person's role there.
What a founder can adapt: Add an advisor or hire with real estate brokerage experience, or say how the team has learned the market.
Supporting analysis
What the deck claims: Asaf Rubin, "Founder & CEO": Taboola, "$2B unicorn", "Member of founding team", "Head of Algorithm Development"; Technion, "B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, B.A. in Mathematics (Summa Cum Laude)". Omer Granot, "President & COO": Via, "$2B+ unicorn", "VP Growth (ex NYC GM)"; MIT, "MBA, Entrepreneurship & Innovation"; "Submarine Deputy Commander". Ilan Fraiman, "CTO": Trusteer, "Acquired by IBM for $700M", "R&D Core Product Group Leader"; "B.Sc in Mathematics at age 20".
Presentation choice: A team without property experience can still be backed, but investors will ask who understands agents, listings and buyers.
When it does not fit: Company valuations stand in for what each person achieved there.
Commercial real estate for small businesses. Slide titled "Our team combines technology and CRE expertise to reshape Real Estate for SMBs".
Keyway deck, slide 3. Exact stored slide matched to this analysis.
Our analysis: The headline states the pairing investors look for, and the alumni panel includes property owners (Brookfield, Jamestown) and a homebuilder. But it doesn't say who worked where or what they did.
Evidence and limitation: A headline naming both skills; logos of real estate owners, banks and technology companies.
What a founder can adapt: Put one line of text under each founder, such as their property role and a result.
Supporting analysis
What the deck claims: Matias Recchia, "Co-Founder & CEO"; Sebastian Wilner, "Co-Founder & COO", with school and employer logos under each. A panel: "Senior team includes alumni from" Goldman Sachs, Jamestown, Google, Brookfield, J.P.Morgan, Capital One, Wells Fargo, D.R. Horton, Bloomberg and others.
Presentation choice: Logos signal the kind of people hired; they don't let an investor judge any individual.
When it does not fit: An alumni wall with no names attached.
Proptech-tagged deck. Two-founder slide with photo.
Domi deck, slide 2. Exact stored slide matched to this analysis.
Our analysis: The pairing is right: a built-environment professional and a software builder. But neither line names an employer or project.
Evidence and limitation: Years of experience, a professional qualification and a specialism for each founder; no named employers or results.
What a founder can adapt: Replace the adjectives with one named project each and its scale.
Supporting analysis
What the deck claims: Pavel Metelitsyn, "Co-founder & CTO": "Technology thought leader and scientist. 20y+ software development experience in blockchain, fintech and cross-industry projects. Co-founder of the digital magazine TransitoryWhite." Katrie Lowe, "Co-founder & CEO": "Respected project manager and chartered civil engineer. 10y+ career delivering complex, multi-discipline projects specialising in urban infrastructure master planning and integrated design." Logos of incubators and programmes below.
Presentation choice: "Respected" and "thought leader" are self-descriptions; a named project would carry more weight.
When it does not fit: Describing people with praise rather than facts.
Real estate investment. Slide titled "Bringing Together Talent from the World's Leading Companies". (weaker)
Immo deck, slide 4. Exact stored slide matched to this analysis.
Our analysis: Included for contrast: the logos include real estate investors, and the advisors are specific, but the slide never says who runs the company.
Evidence and limitation: Team diversity figures and employer logos; named advisors with roles. No founder or team member is named.
What a founder can adapt: Name the founders first, with their real estate or investment roles, then add the diversity figures.
Supporting analysis
What the deck claims: "Diverse Team with Diverse Backgrounds": "43% Women", "16 different nationalities speaking", "11 different languages". Logos: Blackstone, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, Cushman & Wakefield, Amazon, Google, Uber and others. "Our Investors & Advisors": Talis Capital, Fintech Collective, Surplus; Andrew Baum ("Leading Real Estate Strategist, former Professor on Future of Real Estate Oxford Said Business School"), Todd Rupert ("Former President & CEO, T. Rowe Price Investments"), Tom Stafford ("Partner, DST Global").
Presentation choice: Investors back the people running the business; a slide without them leaves the key question open.
When it does not fit: Advisors who are better described than the team.
Workplace and office space; deck from a $12m round. Slide titled "Meet the team". (weakest)
Gable deck, slide 2. Exact stored slide matched to this analysis.
Our analysis: Included for contrast: it shows the team is built out, but an investor can't tell who has worked in office space or property.
Evidence and limitation: Thirteen names and titles, small logos for some; no years, results or real estate experience in text.
What a founder can adapt: Give the two founders a line each, and group the rest by function with a headcount.
Supporting analysis
What the deck claims: Liza Mash Levin, "Co-founder & CEO"; Omri Haviv, "Co-founder & CTO", each with small company logos. Eleven more names and titles, including "Head of Sales", "Head of Growth", "Partner Operations & Success Manager" and several "Senior Developer" roles.
Presentation choice: At a later round a team map is useful, but the founders still need a line of background.
When it does not fit: Tiny logos as the only background.

Key Takeaways
Show who has worked inside real estate and who builds the software.
Give a property result with a number: locations, transactions, square feet.
Name the operator, developer or lender each person worked for.
Company logos without names attached don't show who did what.
Label advisors and investors apart from the team.
Build your real estate team slide
Cover property and software, then add a number for each person.
Property. Who has worked inside real estate, and for which owner, operator, broker or lender?
Result. What did they do there: locations, transactions, units, square feet?
Software. Who builds the product, and what have they shipped before?
Customer. Has anyone worked for the kind of company you sell to?
Advisors. Which advisors fill a gap, and are they labelled as advisors?
Copyable framework: Headline: [property skill] + [technology skill]. [Name], [role]: [company], [result with number]. [Name], CTO: built [product], [result].
Illustrative example 1 — written by us
Before: Katrie Lowe, Co-founder & CEO. Respected project manager and chartered civil engineer.
After: Katrie Lowe, Co-founder & CEO: chartered civil engineer; led [named project], [scale], at [employer].
What improved: Our illustrative rewrite; the bracketed details are placeholders, not Domi's facts. It replaces praise with a checkable project.
What this guide adds
The general team slide guide covers any company. Real estate has a particular question: does anyone here understand how property is owned, leased, managed and financed? This guide looks at how real proptech team slides answer it.
Our library's proptech tag covers flexible workspace, retirement living software, rental search, commercial property for small businesses, property data and real estate investment. We note each company's business where the deck shows it.
How we read each slide
We quote the text on the stored slide images. We have not checked any employer, transaction, location count, exit or valuation claim.
Common mistakes
No property experience. Say who understands how buildings are owned, leased and run.
Logo walls. Attach each logo to a person and a role.
Praise instead of facts. Replace "respected" with a named project.
Missing founders. Name who runs the company before listing advisors.
Titles only. A role without background can't be judged.
Diagnostic checklist
A real estate owner with a named employer and a number.
A technical owner with a shipped product.
Experience with the customer you sell to, if any.
Advisors and investors labelled apart from staff.
One employer and one result per person.
Frequently asked questions
What should a proptech startup's team slide show?
Who knows real estate, who builds the software, and one checkable result for each. Infinitspace's founders give locations, square feet and transactions from WeWork and Mindspace.
Does a proptech team need real estate experience?
Investors will ask for it. Array's founders worked at the kind of operator they sell to; Localize shows strong technology history but no property role, so that question stays open.
Are company logos enough on a team slide?
No. Keyway, Immo and Gable show logos, but without a name and role beside each, an investor can't tell who did what.
How we chose these examples
Corpus: published pitch deck teardowns on StartupFundraising.com. Founder-uploaded private decks are excluded.
Selection (2026-09-27): we searched extracted slide text in decks tagged proptech for team or founder together with CEO, CTO or co-founder, and reviewed candidate slides with stored images as images.
Kept seven. Left out: cover slides that list founders (Array p1, Hero Homes p1, Parkhound p1), non-team slides (Fifth Dimension AI p2, Intergalactic Enterprises), a slide with no stored image (Bespoke Habitat p7), Divvy Homes p2 (already used elsewhere), and a duplicate Array deck. No uploads were requested.
Review: stored slide text and images were checked on 2026-09-27 and matched to company, deck and slide number (editorial model review). No person has yet completed an editorial review of this page.
Claims are as shown on the slides; we have not verified them. We make no claim that any slide caused a fundraising outcome.
