David Overton is the Chairman of the Board and CEO of The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated. He co-founded the company with his parents, Evelyn and Oscar Overton. Overton created the namesake concept and opened the first The Cheesecake Factory restaurant in 1978 in Beverly Hills, California. Under his leadership, the company has expanded internationally and developed or acquired other restaurant concepts such as Grand Lux Cafe, RockSugar Southeast Asian Kitchen, Social Monk Asian Kitchen, and North Italia.
