George Peppou co-founded Vow, an Australian company that produces cultured meat, with Tim Noakesmith in Sydney. As CEO, he led Vow to become the first company globally to sell cultivated meat, receiving regulatory approval for a cultured quail parfait under its Forged brand. Peppou also secured a record US$49 million Series A funding round in 2022 for Vow, the largest in the cultured meat industry at that time.
