Joseph Purington is the President and CEO of Central Maine Power (CMP), Maine's largest electricity transmission and distribution utility. He began his career at CMP in 1987, working in various roles including Director of Distribution Operations, before rejoining as President and CEO in 2021. Prior to this, Purington held the position of President, New Hampshire Operations for Eversource starting in January 2020.
