Nicholas Hawker is the co-founder and CEO of First Light Fusion, a UK-based fusion energy company that spun out of the University of Oxford in 2011. Under his leadership, the company raised over $100 million and grew to 100 employees. First Light Fusion achieved experimental fusion demonstration in the lab using high-velocity projectile technology, independently validated by the UK Atomic Energy Authority in April 2022.
