Brendan Blumer is the founder and chief executive officer of Block.one. Block.one developed EOS, a computing protocol that competes with the technology behind the Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains. The company announced a $1 billion investment to foster the expansion of EOS and raised around $4 billion from the sale of cryptocurrency tokens. Peter Thiel and Michael Novogratz are among its backers.
