Throughout his career, he held various leadership roles and was appointed to DSM’s Managing Board in 2013, where he played a key role in the company's transformation towards a health, nutrition, and bioscience focus. He holds master's degrees in Business Economics from the University of Groningen and in Finance and Control from Maastricht University.
