Eric Ostertag is the co-founder of Poseida Therapeutics, where he served as founding Chief Executive Officer from July 2015 to January 2022 and currently serves as Executive Chairman. He invented or co-invented a majority of the genetic engineering platform technologies used by the company for human therapeutics. Prior to Poseida, he founded and led Transposagen Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. for 13 years, and also co-founded Vindico NanoBioTechnology, Inc. and PhenoTech, Inc.
