Juan Manuel Rojas Payán is the president of Promigas, a long-standing private company in the Latin American natural gas sector known for its pioneering work in mass natural gas use in Colombia. Promigas comprises 23 companies involved in natural gas and liquefied natural gas transportation and distribution, electricity distribution and marketing, industrial solutions, and non-banking financing in Colombia and Peru. Before leading Promigas, Rojas served as corporate vice president of strategy and new business at Ecopetrol, where he shaped the company's strategic vision for oil & gas, electricity, and other energy ventures. He has 22 years of international experience in the energy sector, including a tenure as deputy minister of energy in Colombia.
