He joined the company in April 2020 as co-founding CEO. NewAmsterdam Pharma completed a €160M ($196M) Series A funding round in August 2020 to support the Phase 3 development of its drug, obicetrapib. The company went public on Nasdaq (NAMS) in July 2022.
