Michael A. DeGiglio is the founder and CEO of Village Farms International, a company he started in 1989. Village Farms International operates as a hydroponic vegetable greenhouse business, utilizing Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) and high technology hydroponics in its facilities across the United States and Canada. Prior to Village Farms, DeGiglio founded Agro Dynamics, Inc. (ADI) in 1984, which introduced new greenhouse technologies to North America, and later served as CEO of EcoScience, an agricultural biotechnology company, before its acquisition by Village Farms.
