Founded in 2003, Sangon Biotech provides chemical and biological reagents, DNA synthesis, molecular biology kits, proteins, antibodies, and laboratory consumables. In 2010, the company, along with Bio Basic Inc. (BBI), closed a $10 million funding round from Qiming Ventures to scale its research and development, marketing, and sales.
