Koichiro Nakamura, MBA '07, is the cofounder and managing director of Sozo Ventures, a firm established in 2012 to help startups expand into Japanese and Asian markets. Prior to co-founding Sozo, he spent over two decades building tech companies, including being part of Yahoo Japan's founding team. He also created Japan's first Application Service Provider and DataStations at Mitsubishi Corporation, which was acquired by ValueCommerce. Nakamura has been recognized on the Forbes Midas List for his investments in companies like Coinbase, Palantir, and Square.
