Vegard Wollan is the CEO of Nordic Semiconductor, a global semiconductor company. He started his career with Nordic VLSI, which later became Nordic Semiconductor. Wollan was one of the inventor team behind the AVR microcontroller technology and later joined Atmel, where he built a highly profitable business as VP and General Manager. He also established Mywo, which merged into TouchNetix, where he served as CEO.
