Derek Liu is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and a member of the Direct Lending Investment Team, where he focuses on the underwriting, structuring, and portfolio management of credit investments in middle market technology companies. Prior to joining Blue Owl, he held roles at Apollo Global Management, Barclays Private Credit Partners, Barclays Capital, and Citigroup. He received a BS in Economics with a dual concentration in Finance and Information Systems, cum laude, from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
