Eva Berneke was appointed CEO of Eutelsat, a leading satellite operator, effective January 1, 2022, becoming the first woman to hold this position. She joined Eutelsat from KMD, a Danish IT and software company that is part of the NEC Group, where she led its transformation. Prior to KMD, she held senior roles at TDC and worked for McKinsey. Eutelsat is investing in connectivity markets and has rolled out its Konnect broadband service while also investing in Low-Earth Orbit operator OneWeb.
