He joined the company's Board of Directors in 2015, became President and COO in 2017, and CEO in April 2018. Fried founded Healthspan Research LLC, which developed the Tru Niagen consumer brand before its acquisition by ChromaDex in 2017. His prior background includes founding Feeln and WHN, and executive roles at Savoy Pictures and Columbia Pictures.
