Tariq Kassum, M.D., was the former CEO of Celsius Therapeutics, a biotechnology company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He led the company from its Series A financing in May 2018 through its acquisition by AbbVie in June 2024 for $250 million. Under his leadership, Celsius Therapeutics advanced its programs to Phase 1 clinical trials and secured additional financing.
