Rosentrater joined Avista Corp. in 1999 as an electrical engineer, following an earlier role as a student engineering technician for Avista Labs, a former fuel cell subsidiary. She has held various leadership positions in electric transmission and distribution, system operations, natural gas supply, and business process improvement.
