He is a Genentech veteran and longtime biotech entrepreneur based on the West Coast, having also led DiCE Molecules, a Stanford spinout that collaborated with Sanofi. DICE Therapeutics was acquired by Eli Lilly in 2023 for approximately $2.4 billion.
